The following terms and conditions apply whenever you register for and participate in any of the Events hosted on the Platform, and relate to your use of the Platform.
In order to participate in a particular Event to be hosted on the Platform, you will have to first create an account and register for that Event through the Website. When registering for an Event, you will need to provide us with certain compulsory personal information. You confirm that all information and details provided by you to us are true, accurate and up to date in all respects and at all times.
Where an Event has a maximum number of attendees, registration will be subject to availability.
If you are under the age of 18 or if higher, the legal age in your country of residence, you may not register for any of the virtual events hosted on the Platform.
Your registration to an Event may be subject to you paying a participation fee. Wherever this is the case, you will be asked, before submitting your registration, to pay the participation fee which is chargeable for the virtual event which you intend to register for.
The participation fee will be indicated on the registration pages when you register to participate in an Event. All prices are in Euro (€), including VAT at the applicable rate.
You may pay by debit card, credit card or another alternative payment method specified as part of the checkout process.
Unless For more information regarding participation fees and payments, please refer to the terms and conditions of the relevant Event Organiser.
Please note that completion of the online registration process does not constitute acceptance of your request to register for and participate in an Event. Acceptance of your registration, will take place only when we confirm your order by email.
Validly registering for an Event shall entitle you to attend that Event, subject to your compliance with these Terms and Conditions and with the terms and conditions of the Event Organiser. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance shall be borne solely by you, and we shall have no liability for such costs.
When participating in an Event hosted on the Platform, you agree:
We reserve the right refuse entry or to remove you from any Event if your presence or behaviour creates a disruption to the Event or if you fail to comply with your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
You may cancel your participation to an Event by directly contacting the Event Organiser of the Event which you have registered to attend.
If an Event is cancelled or postponed after you have validly registered for it, the Event Organiser will contact you as soon as possible by email using the details you have supplied.
Whether you will be entitled to a refund or not in any of the above circumstances will depend on the refund policy of the Event Organiser and their terms and conditions for your participation to their Events. You will have a chance to read those terms and conditions before submitting your registration for an Event. If you would like to discuss a refund, you should contact the Event Organiser, who is responsible with dealing with the matter.
We shall not be liable to you as a result of any cancellation or postponement of an Event by the Event Organiser and we shall not be liable for any additional losses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation or postponement.
You are responsible for procuring the necessary equipment for accessing and attending any virtual Events hosted on the Platform. We shall not be responsible for the reliability or continued availability or speed or quality of the telephone or internet lines and equipment that you use.
Furthermore, it is your responsibility to ensure that your systems are compatible with the technology of the Platform prior to registering for an Event.
We will not be liable or responsible for any technical issues which may arise as a result of your failure to ensure compatibility of our technology with your systems. Similarly, we are not liable for any deterioration, lack of availability (operation, transfer speed, coverage, roaming), delay, failure or lack of quality of data communications or networks.
To the extent we are allowed to under the law, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to our Website or any content on it.
